Since February 2020, the Food Standards Agency visited us and we attained a five-star food hygiene rating which involves all handling of food, storage, preparation, cleanliness and how food is safely managed was assessed to meet a very good standard. Nevertheless, our sweets are packed in the same location and there is always a small chance of cross-contamination therefore we do not completely guarantee all allergies are met including an intolerance to nuts due to the nature in which they are packaged. We do our best to reduce this by using different scoops for each sweet, use separate bowls for different dietary requirements, change our gloves regularly and store our sweets in sections related to the requirements stated above. For extra precaution when packaging the sweets, we wear facemasks, aprons, gloves, our hair is tied back, and a cap is worn.
